Hello!

Iā€™m Vivian Chinyere Inya

Chinyere created WAYAYA, as a means to economically connect all Africans globally. She is currently a Partner, Head of Platform at Future Africa, an early stage venture capital firm that invests in entrepreneurs who have a core focus on Africa. She is also a strategic advisor at Amplify Africa, a media and entertainment company that centers community building of the African diaspora. Prior to this, her career primarily focused on operations management, technology delivery, and product management as an operator and management consultant.

Having lived between two worlds, growing up as a Nigerian-American, she has felt the tension and beauty of this experience, realizing the unique opportunity to serve as a bridge between Africa and the global African diaspora.

Through her family's nonprofit, Christy's Bridge, Chinyere has overseen a variety of projects in their hometown located in Southeastern Nigeria, most notably the installation of a community library. Additionally, she has spent time over the years supporting nonprofits like Acumen Impact Investment Fund and NABU. She actively invests in African startups and is a founding council member of Talent City.

Chinyere graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management from the Rochester Institute of Technology, a Master of Science degree in Finance from Georgetown University, and has worked for several organizations including IBM Bluewolf, Ernst & Young, and JP Morgan Chase.
